The Asset Protection Manager, supporting the California Distribution Centers and Store locations, will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of initiatives to mitigate loss incurred through theft, fraud and operational process. This position will ensure adherence to company objectives and initiatives through audit compliance and the physical security of the building through personnel management and standard protocols. The Asset Protection Manager position will be based at our Rialto Distribution Center and will report to the Director Asset Protection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze key metrics to identify potential deficiencies and financial risks in assigned areas
Provide cross functional training to help support AP initiatives
Work in close partnership with retail and warehouse leadership and associates to provide support, problem solving and information on asset protection issues
Execution and partnership in the continuing development of the company audit program
Conduct internal and external investigations
Ensure the physical security of the facility, associates and company assets including management of security personnel
Proficiency with inventory tools and reporting to assist with investigations and case identification
Flexibility when encountering evolving business objectives

Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Analytic thinker with excellent problem solving skills, including math related functions
Ability to multi task in a fast paced DC environment
Able to work a flexible schedule; evenings, weekends, holidays with travel and overnight travel as needed
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and in cross functional team environments
Experience with physical security; Alarms, Access Control and CCTV
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, including 5+ years in an Asset Protection / Loss Prevention Management role.
