The role of the training coordinator is to oversee all professional logistics development within the

Responsibilities
Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
Map out annual training plans for Management, Supervisors and Team Members and align with HR
Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans
Select appropriate training methods or activities (e. simulations,mentoring,on-the-job training,professional development classes)
Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
Present train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPls
Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
Submit reports on training activities and results

Requirements
Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator,Trainer,Training Facilitator or similar role
Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a logistics / corporate setting
Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Experience with e-learning platforms
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills
Experience in project management with strong attention to detail
Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
Proficient in MS Office;working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS} is a plus
