We are in search of talented college students, looking for an enriching, paid summer internship. This 10-week full-time opportunity is located in our corporate office in New York.
We’re looking for a creative and driven Marketing intern with a passion for footwear innovation to join our Contemporary Fashion team.
Our internship will give you the opportunity to:
• Gain practical, real-world fashion experience in a creative environment
• Work with one of our Contemporary Fashion Brands – Franco Sarto, Via Spiga, Vince, Diane von Furstenberg, Carlos by Carlos Santana and Fergie Footwear
• Help research and analyze competitor marketing on an on-going basis (i.e. advertising, packaging, awareness, events and spending).
• Assist the Public Relations team to maximize brand publicity and public relations opportunities.
• Support team with appropriate brand presentations and marketing collateral that reinforce the brand through a consumer centric point of view.
• Assist with production of assets for social media campaigns.
• Support team with various tradeshows.
As part of our team, you will also connect with other interns, engage in networking and professional development opportunities and work on impactful real-life business situations vital to the future success of our business.
QUALIFICATIONS
• College student (entering senior year Fall 2017) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications or related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Eagerness to learn about footwear industry
• Organized, detail-oriented, adaptable and flexible
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player with a desire to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy office environment
• Demonstrated leader, driven to take ownership, improve processes and deliver results
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
