We are in search of talented college students, looking for an enriching, paid summer internship. This 11-week full-time opportunity is located in our corporate office in St. Louis.
We’re looking for a creative and driven Design Intern with a passion for footwear innovation to join our team.
Our internship will give you the opportunity to:
• Gain practical, real-world fashion experience in a creative design environment
• Work with one of our Healthy Living Brands – Naturalizer, Dr. Scholl’s, LifeStride and Ryka
• Research and source fabrics and trims
• Assist in the creation of CADs
• Work directly with the design team to prepare for upcoming collections
• Observe the entire design process from concept to final product.
As part of our team, you will also connect with other interns, engage in networking and professional development opportunities and work on impactful real-life business situations vital to the future success of our business.
QUALIFICATIONS
• College student (entering senior year Fall 2017) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Textile and Apparel Management or related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Experience with sketching and rendering
• Knowledge of footwear design a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, adaptable and flexible
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player with a desire to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy office environment
• Demonstrated leader, driven to take ownership, improve processes and deliver results
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
