We seek people who:
• Provide exceptional, high-level administrative support of division president and executive team, confidently representing the Sam Edelman brand on the front line
• Efficiently secure arrangements for all international and domestic travel, meetings, trade shows and special events
• Organize and attend meetings, distribute detailed agendas and meeting notes and create memos and other correspondence on behalf of Mr. Edelman
• Manage daily office operations and facility and oversee operational budget
• Review and approve invoicing and ensure payments are expedited
• Supervise direct reports, ensuring tasks and communications for the division are delegated and managed accordingly
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years administrative experience required
• Quick-thinking and resourceful with a can-do attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Trend-savvy and fluent in the New York City social scene
• In-depth knowledge of the fashion industry and latest styles and trends
• Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize among competing demands
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable with ability to quickly execute, but also provide self-direction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
