We seek an experienced men’s footwear designer who’s proactive, innovative and driven with a passion for men’s casual and athletic footwear to join our Dr. Scholl’s Design team.

We seek people who:
• Manage the product creation process from concept through production, ensuring delivery in line with critical dates, product specifications and profitability goals
• Sketch, render and model concepts from conception to sales-ready samples, generating innovative ideas and 2D & 3D design solutions
• Track and facilitate sampling and prototyping of products, identifying issues in design, construction or manufacturing, adjusting to deliver proven and tested product
• Maintain knowledge of market and consumer trends, category goals and new technology, acting as internal leader in footwear design & development, leading new model & product introductions
• Collaborate and communicate with internal teams to proactively manage timelines and facilitate processes
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field preferred
• 3+ years design experience in men’s footwear preferred
• Excellent sketching & illustration abilities; 3D design experience preferred
• Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials & product creation lifecycle
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Self-directed and proactive with ability to own the full design & development process
• Ability to travel, international & domestic (40%)
