We seek people who deliver:
•Design and development of a line that supports the brand essence through sketching ability, strong understanding of brand positions, and innovative and creative input
•Compilation, analysis, and dissemination of trend, style, consumer and market intelligence between internal and external partners, and is utilized in the creation of product
•Promotion and support of innovation and creativity that balances evolution of the brand with fiscal responsibility to the business
•Design and development processes that promote speed to market concepts and maximize continuous merchandising opportunities
•Knowledge of current and future trends by partnering with trend services to shows and by shopping major markets both domestically and internationally
•Participation in line planning and product calendar creation
•Establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships with customers' or license partners' senior management
We seek people with these qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in design related field
•Minimum 3 years design experience in the footwear and/or fashion industry
•Excellent verbal communication and presentation experience
•Leadership and people management
•Ability to prioritize tasks
•Strong partnering skills; problem solving and analytical skills
•Microsoft Office Required
•Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop preferred
•CAD preferred
