We seek a results-driven, financial analyst with a passion for driving process, influencing business partners, and improving policy to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team in St Louis.

• Lead the annual, quarterly and monthly budget and forecasting process for all corporate functions and Caleres’ International business unit, including relevant and critical analysis and documentation of major variances
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices around forecasting, budgeting and management reporting; as well as automate, where applicable
• Partner with functional leaders to identify and drive cost savings across the business
• Responsible for reporting and analyses of Capital projects
• Assists with the month-end financial close process and provides relevant/critical analysis as necessary
• Assure accuracy and integrity of forecasting and budgeting processes.
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or MaCC preferred
• 4+ years accounting or financial analysis experience; multi-division operations preferred
• Strong Business Acumen, excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong team-player with demonstrated experience working across functions
• Excellent communication, collaboration and partnering skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Enterprise system experience, particularly related to business planning and analysis (SAP/BPC or related systems experience strongly preferred)
