We seek people who deliver:
•Effective transportation of all inbound product via air, ocean, rail and truck, initiated from foreign ports and delivered to customer or warehouse on time and within budget
•Efficient communication of inbound shipment volumes and traffic flow to enable distribution center operations and business partners to plan receiving capacity and product availability
•Management of daily operations, coordinating with ocean carriers, customs brokers and trucking companies, ensuring timely communication and accurate invoicing
•Direct communication with customers to ensure delivery to appropriate distribution center within specified shipping windows
•Collaboration with procurement manager and international transportation service providers, utilizing metrics to ensure continual service process improvements
We seek people with these qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Transportation, Logistics or related field
•2+ years experience in transportation-related field; international preferred
•Understanding of international regulations & regulatory agencies
•In-depth knowledge of global supply chain
•Ideally, fluent in multiple languages with a passion for world travel
•Exceptional customer service skills
•Experience in SAP, ecVision, OTM or TMS
