We seek an experienced designer with a passion for contemporary women’s footwear to join our Franco Sarto team in New York.

• Lead the Franco Sarto footwear design team with creativity, knowledge of the footwear design process and industry
• Partner with design leadership to implement brand vision and product direction
• Provide innovative designs and concepts to strengthen brand image and maintain competitive edge
• Understand current consumer fashion trends, presenting new ideas through competitive shopping and market research
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design required; footwear concentration preferred
• 8+ years footwear design experience
• Expert knowledge of footwear materials, construction and production techniques
• Demonstrated experience implementing current material, color and style trends
• Outstanding sketching and rendering abilities
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Thrives in a dynamic, challenging, fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
