We seek people who:
• Directs commercial operations for a diverse portfolio of branded eCommerce businesses, ensuring profitable volume growth through creative, compelling consumer strategies.
• Leads the management of consumer-centric eCommerce storefronts across device types, including mobile, driven by deep understanding of customer behavior, preference and purchase insights.
• Leads the prioritization of strategic initiatives related to capturing the hearts and minds of consumers while generating commercial volume.
• Ensures consumer demand is created across all distribution channels, including company-owned retail stores, wholesale and department store distribution, online partner retailers, television shopping and consumer services.
• Partners cross-functionally in order to maintain harmonious business planning and alignment with consumer services, digital marketing, brand marketing, merchandising and leadership teams.
• Ensures high-quality product storytelling and assortment planning across core, seasonal and novelty goods. Partners with product development to explore product category expansion and adjacencies to drive online exclusive assortment development.
• Examines internal processes, priorities and resource allocations and delivers continuous improvement change to increase operational efficiency and consumer experience excellence.
• Coaches and counsels a high-performance team; seeks to understand career and personal development needs and creates action plans to support individual growth.
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years of previous business experience in eCommerce, retail merchandising, retail marketing, or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of retail and wholesale businesses dynamics
• Globally-branded consumer goods experience a plus
• Microsoft Office, web analytics, website administration or content management platforms
• Analytical, organized and detail-oriented
• Collaborative partner, even tempered in a deadline-driven environment
