We seek people who deliver:
• Effective transportation of all inbound product via air, ocean, rail and truck, initiated from foreign ports and delivered to customer or warehouse on time and within budget
• Efficient communication of inbound shipment volumes and traffic flow to enable distribution center operations and business partners to plan receiving capacity and product availability
• Management of daily operations, coordinating with ocean carriers, customs brokers and trucking companies, ensuring timely communication and accurate invoicing
• Direct communication with customers to ensure delivery to appropriate distribution center within specified shipping windows
• Collaboration with procurement manager and international transportation service providers, utilizing metrics to ensure continual service process improvements
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Transportation, Logistics or related field
• 2+ years experience in transportation-related field; international preferred
• Understanding of international regulations & regulatory agencies
• In-depth knowledge of global supply chain
• Ideally, fluent in multiple languages with a passion for world travel
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience in SAP, ecVision, OTM or TMS
