We seek a driven leader to oversee departmental work-flow within our Famous Footwear distribution center operations team in Lebanon, TN.

Responsibilities:
• Leadership, training, development and mentorship for Assistant Supervisors, future Assistant Supervisors, as well as, departmental Associates.
• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy work environment, able to show year-on-year improvements in accident and injury statistics.
• Ensures company policies are communicated, understood, and administered consistently.
• Formulation and execution of tactical day-to-day and hour-by-hour operating plans to forecast and plan product flow, and adjust staffing based on volume and service level expectations.
• Demonstrates team building skills and leads by example.
• Actively embraces continuous improvement through improvement of self as much as improvement of team, processes and environment.
• Identify and implement best practices within department and across shifts.
• Conduct and facilitate operational training, including training across departments within the distribution center.
• Create a culture of ownership and engagement.
• Maximizes use of building equipment.
• Subject matter expert, able to perform research on various exceptions.
• Partners effectively with own leadership team, as well as with teams and peers off site at other Distribution facilities and at the corporate office.
• Support of facility operating budget and key project initiatives by validating and achieving engineered standards, and exceeding daily operating goals.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• 2+ years distribution center experience preferred
• 2+ years leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility preferred
