We seek a focused individual with entry level equipment maintenance and operation to join our new distribution center operations team in Ontario, CA.

We seek people who deliver:
• Safe and efficient operation of the distribution center equipment by proactive preventive maintenance of equipment, quick reaction to breakdowns so there is minimal mechanical down-time, and insuring all OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory safety requirements are met or exceeded, including documenting and fire system inspections.
• Adherence to prescribed processes and procedures to maximize equipment readiness and velocity of product within the distribution center by monitoring interior and exterior of facility and conducting equipment repairs as needed and partnering to fix or update systems when necessary
• Effective production support, both proactively and reactively through regular monitoring of equipment and following up with equipment users after a repair or system upgrade is implemented
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PIV (powered industrial vehicle) licenses to operate all PIV equipment associated with the warehouse within 90 days of employment
• Ability to develop and / or perform welding and fabrication.
• Basic grounds maintenance and snow shoveling/salting
• Knowledge of skilled trades and experience working with high-speed conveyance systems and all components
• Ability to perform routine mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment associated with warehouse distribution systems
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Previous facilities maintenance or maintenance technician experience 1-3 years
• Moderate mechanical and electrical knowledge base.
• Must maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times
• Must be able to work in elevated situations from lift equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and physically fit
• High School Diploma/GED required
