We seek a Area Manager to lead our team in the Austin, Texas market. This position will include direct supervision of one store with additional support responsibilities for 3 additional stores. Specific cities in this area include: Round Rock, San Marcos, Canutillo, and Grand Prairie, Texas.

Accountabilities:
• Assures achievement of financial objectives including: sales, payroll, and shrink in assigned store
• Assures effective implementation and execution of company plans and strategies in assigned store
• Assures a consistent in-store experience that supports the brand and exceeds the Customer's expectations through utilizing the company selling model and consistent operations and merchandising initiatives within assigned store
• Assures selection and retention of high caliber associates of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences from both inside and outside the organization
• Assures compliance, education, and support of all provincial, and local laws and regulations including pay, meal and rest breaks, and state-specific requirements in assigned store
• Assures support and direction of all operational aspects and to Store Managers in the assigned group of stores
Preferred Qualifications & Education:
• Some college required
• 4+ years of retail store management experience
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store and with corporate partners
• Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals
• Demonstrates an ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively with store associates at all levels
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates and managers
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Territory Manager, as needed
• Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Ability to influence at all levels, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in driving successful management strategies
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet
• Ability to travel 30% of the time
