We are in search of talented college students looking for an enriching, paid summer internship. This opportunity is located in our corporate office in St. Louis.
We are looking for highly motivated, results-oriented, marketing/communications majors with a passion for optimizing site experience for Famous Footwear US and Canada sites.
As part of our team, you will also connect with other interns, engage in networking and professional development opportunities and work on impactful opportunities vital to the future success of our business.
Our internship will give you the opportunity to:
• Gain practical, hands-on experience in the footwear industry
• Assist in rebuilding web pages from our current content management system to our new system
• Design site experiences for our new famous.ca site
• Build tests for mobile site content
• Work with our Marketing and Merchandising teams to develop site plans for the Holiday Season
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or other related degrees.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Demonstrated leader, driven to take ownership, improve processes and deliver results
• Word Press experience preferred
• Experience with content management systems a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent communication skills
