We seek an experienced, collaborative and highly-motivated Vice President of Corporate Communications with a passion for the fashion and footwear industry. This position directly reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

• Create and implement Caleres’ corporate communication strategy through effective internal and external channels
• Maintain the standards of integrity and consistency of the Caleres brand portfolio across all internal and external messaging
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts and supporting agencies
• Ensure the tone and reach of internal and external messaging is tailored to resonate with specific target audiences
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or Marketing
• 15+ years agency or corporate communications experience
• Exceptional writing, editing & communication skills
• Demonstrated ability building strong partnerships and collaborating with all levels in the organization
• Experienced strategic thinker as well as tactical executor
• Ability to exhibit poise, a strong presence and act as an empathetic listener
• Strong project manager and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
