We seek someone who is innovative and collaborative with a passion for maximizing sales through effective planning to join our Famous Footwear retail merchandising team.

We seek people who:
• Deliver location plans which maximize store and class selling opportunities to meet sell-through goals
• Partner with Allocation and Assortment teams, developing seasonal sales plans to meet forecasted sales demand
• Conduct analysis and act as subject matter expert on store sales trends
• Assist in the development of pre- and in-season location plans for new and relocating store locations
• Identify sales, capacity and inventory opportunities, recommending improvements to processes and tools
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience
• 2+ years retail planning experience preferred
• Merchandising experience preferred
• Excellent collaboration, partnering and communication skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to meet competing demands
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
