Specialist, Merchandise Allocation
We seek someone who is innovative and collaborative with a passion for maximizing sales through effective planning to join our Famous Footwear retail merchandising team.

We seek people who:
• Deliver category sales and lifecycle management goals through weekly replenishment
• Utilize assortment plans to accurately allocate initial merchandise quantities, sizes, and stories
• Conduct weekly analysis on store inventories and forecasts store inventory levels in an effort to maximize sales results
• Maintain planned back stock levels at the distribution centers to meet replenishment demand for stores and .com businesses
• Ensure adequate stock levels for advertised products to meet promotional calendar deadlines
• Facilitate merchandise projects to balance stock levels and ensure current store seasonality
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in Allocation or Analysis preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Excellent collaboration, partnering and communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Arthur Planning Software preferred
