We seek a focused individual with entry level equipment maintenance and operation to join our Famous Footwear distribution center operations team in Lebanon, TN.

We seek people who deliver:
• Safe and efficient operation of the distribution center equipment by proactive preventive maintenance of equipment, quick reaction to breakdowns, and insuring all OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory safety requirements are met or exceeded, including documenting and fire system inspections.
• Adherence to prescribed processes and procedures to maximize equipment readiness and velocity of product by monitoring interior and exterior of facility, conducting equipment repairs as needed and partnering to fix or update systems when necessary
• Effective production support, both proactively and reactively through regular monitoring of equipment and follow up
• Ability to develop and / or perform welding and fabrication.
• Knowledge of skilled trades and experience working with high-speed conveyance systems
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Previous facilities maintenance or maintenance technician experience 1-3 years preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PIV (powered industrial vehicle) licenses to operate all PIV equipment associated with the warehouse within 90 days of employment
• At least 1 year of mechanical and electrical repair experience on equipment associated with warehouse distribution systems preferred
• Must be able to work in elevated situations from lift equipment
• Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
• High School Diploma/GED required
