We seek an experienced copywriter who’s passionate about developing compelling, customer-focused content to drive brand engagement to join our Allen Edmonds team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize ideas and write creative, compelling marketing content that effectively speaks to our target customer
• Develop clear, consistent and persuasive copy for print and digital, including catalogs, email, web site and blogs
• Accurately proofread all marketing materials and submit copy to meet promotional deadlines
• Represent the voice of Allen Edmonds, working closely with internal teams to ensure copy reinforces brand positioning
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
• 3-5 years experience writing consumer-facing copy, preferably for an ad agency or in-house creative department
• Knowledge of footwear industry preferred
• Exceptional spelling, grammar, punctuation & proofreading skills
• Creative thinker, able to effectively communicate concepts to management and team
