We seek people who:
• Oversee transportation of all inbound product from foreign ports via air, ocean, rail and truck, ensuring delivery to customers and distribution centers on time and within budget
• Communicate inbound shipment volumes and traffic flow to enable distribution center operations and business partners to plan receiving capacity and product availability
• Manage daily operations, coordinating with ocean carriers, customs brokers, forwarders and trucking companies, ensuring timely communication and accurate invoicing
• Deliver effective transportation of export product to customers and distribution centers
• Collaborate with procurement manager and international transportation service providers, utilizing metrics to ensure continual service and process improvements
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Transportation, or related field preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in transportation; international preferred
• Understanding of international regulations & regulatory agencies
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience in SAP, ecVision, OTM or TMS preferred
