We seek someone who is proactive and results-oriented with a passion for forecasting and analyzing sales and market trends to join our Famous Footwear Merchandising team.

We seek people who:
• Develop, evaluate and monitor unit plans, projections, inventory flow and promotional strategies to produce maximum sales, margin and turn metrics
• Partner with Assortment Planning Manager to proactively react to business trends and opportunities with a sense of urgency; for example, develop sales projections and inventory flow for key items/collections
• Routinely present recommendations through analysis to executive management related to driving long and short term business goals
• Partner and communicate with Buyers, Vendors, Allocation, Marketing, Operations and Visual teams to develop assortment plans and communicate current business trends
• Deliver achievement of sales and inventory plans
• Provide support to the Planning Manager, including sizing and building assortments, advertising validation, item management, business planning and pricing.
• Exhibit initiative to look beyond the everyday business to find opportunities to maximize sales potential
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree in Business or related field
• 3-5 years’ Retail Planning experience preferred
• Prior retail merchandising experience preferred
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
