We seek a professional, proactive and skilled maintenance technician passionate about driving efficiency and productivity to join our Famous Footwear Distribution Center team in Lebanon, Tennessee.

We seek people who:
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of automated distribution center equipment through quick reaction to breakdowns and proactive preventative maintenance
• Ensure all OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory safety requirements are met or exceeded
• Successfully act as the liaison between outside contractors and company personnel to accomplish special projects and inspections
• Set example and foster development of junior maintenance technicians
We seek people with these qualifications:
• 3-5 years facilities or maintenance technician experience
• Experience with automated distribution center equipment and conveyance systems
• Skilled in performing mechanical and electrical repairs
• Demonstrated welding and fabrication skills for project design and equipment repair
• Knowledge of arc and MIG welding
• Ability to obtain a powered industrial vehicle license within 90 days of employment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or equivalent required
