We seek a focused individual looking to launch their facilities maintenance career to join our Transportation Team in Lebanon, TN.

We seek people who:
• Assure budget compliance and cost savings through analysis and negotiation of freight pricing as part of comprehensive Caleres Transportation program
• Assure the continuous review of service provider offerings and performance levels to enable differentiation of Caleres service offerings in the marketplace
• Assure on-going support and recommendations to internal stakeholders to help meet their individual customer experience and transportation budget objectives
• Assure that systems and mechanisms are in place to proactively monitor service levels, customer experience levels and resolve issues with product flow in a timely manner
We seek people with these qualifications:
• BA/BS in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineer or related area, MBA or MS a plus
• 10 years of relevant industry experience
• E-Commerce, Retail and Wholesale transportation experience developing business strategies is preferred
• Strong understanding of carrier networks and all modes of transportation, and a successful track record driving cost savings
• Advanced knowledge of logistics operations and past experiences in logistics compliance, routing guide via extensive collaboration with DCs, vendors
• Strong analytical skills to compare rates, package characteristics and time in transit alternatives
• Strong project management experience with proven ability to set objectives, effectively plan and identify tasks, and meet deadlines
• Advanced skills using Analytics software such as Tableau, Qlik, MS-Power BI and Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
• Experience building network models and analyzing network options
• Experience creating spend and network simulation models a plus
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
