We seek people who:
• Lead a team of experienced engineers, maintaining ultimate responsibility for global, end-to-end delivery of key areas of our network, including capacity management, implementation, automation, standards, process management and change control
• Enhance operational excellence, creating processes, procedures and automation to improve efficiency in day-to-day tasks and projects
• Identify and mitigate potential risks through analysis of operational performance metrics, network capacity and supplier issues
• Support our internal customers, ensuring requests and issues are addressed timely and efficiently
We seek people with these qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 10+ years’ experience developing solutions and leading technology teams responsible for developing global solutions across networking, telephony, video, unified communications & collaboration
• Experience in network or voice engineering as a team guide and technical engineering manager
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale network implementations & upgrades
• Persuasive and effective communicator, skilled in presenting technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Independently motivated, intuitive and highly adaptable
• Collaborative and able to balance multiple competing tasks and deadlines
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing/switching & troubleshooting
• Experience in the following network technologies a plus: Cisco Nexus or Cumulus Switching, application delivery using F5 Systems, Palo Alto firewalls, Riverbed SteelConnect/SteelHead technologies
