Training (Learning & Development) Intern

Pennrose Management is excited to be hiring a Learning & Development Intern for our Support Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsible for providing administrative and project support for the Learning & Employee Development. Assist the Director of Learning & Employee Development with project-based assignments, classroom training, including reporting, scheduling, the creation and distribution of collateral and training coordination. Coordinates schedules, arranges meetings, prepares and reviews correspondence, manages flow of information, and assists in meeting departmental goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinates administrative function for the Learning & Employee Development Department
• Researches external training opportunities
• Administers internal training tracking through online system
• Collaborates with HR on the on-boarding process and special projects
• Assists with planning and coordinating company events, incentive programs, contests, and awards
• Liaisons with other departments and external organizations
• Demonstrates discretion when handling confidential information
• Prepares travel arrangements for training, off-site work activity, meetings, conferences, etc.
• Completes administrative duties including copying, faxing, scanning, filing, and distributing information as directed

Performance Metrics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to perform in a busy, multi-tasking work environment

Required Education and Experience:
• Full-time enrollment in a bachelors degree program at an accredited college or university
• Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related major required
• Requires the ability to travel (to properties,
training, errands, etc.)
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or above
• Junior or Senior standing only
• Prior internship experience preferred
