Dietary Aide

Hours: Day and evening shifts (3-4 hours) and some weekend shifts

Main responsibilities: The dietary aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties, including preparing food trays for general and therapeutic diets. This person would also prepare and deliver items as requested by patients and departments. Assists in preparing and plating salads, desserts and nourishments. Maintains the tray line in a clean, neat and organized manner. Delivers food cards to patient care units and return the carts to the kitchen at designated times.

Qualifications include: High School graduate or currently enrolled in high school. Has the ability to calculate measurements in recipes to increase and decrease servings. Exceptional communication skills required. Food preparation experience preferred.
