.5 FTE - Evenings/Nights, Every third weekend overnights 12 hour shifts.

Main responsibilities: The Medical Surgical RN, in collaboration with the attending physician and the health care team, supports and cares for patients in all areas of the critical access hospital. Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all necessary documentation. Performs basic patient care responsibilities as ordered by the physician and per standards of nursing care, considering age appropriate needs. Evaluates the patient’s condition and response to treatments, notifying the physician, charge nurse and other care givers as appropriate.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin required. BLS Certification required and ACLS required within 6 months of hire. PALS and ENPC certification required within one year.
