Patient Access Rep - Full Time

Day Shifts Monday - Friday, may include an occasional evening, holiday or weekend shift.

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for checking in patients for their procedure/appointments. This individual will verify patient information and ensure the accurate paperwork is completed for the patient's appointment and assist patients with scheduling follow up visits. Collection of deposits/patient co pays/deductibles/balances consistently and accurately are also part of this role.

Qualifications include: Completion of position related 2 year program, such as Medical Administrative Specialist or Medical Office Specialist is preferred or 2 year degree in related studies; and/or equivalent experience. Minimum one year experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting. Experience in a customer service setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Experience with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
