.6 FTE - Nights, Every Third Weekend

Main responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional who assesses and provides care for the OB patient during pregnancy, through their labor, their delivery and during postpartum until the patient is discharged. Provides education to the OB patient and family and care for the newborn, demonstrates good assessment skills, performs NBHS test and assists the physicians in circumcisions. The RN will work closely with the physicians in providing patient care, communication and education. The RN will help in maintaining the department and assisting with tasks related to the unit.

Qualifications include: Must be experienced in OB nursing. Current Wisconsin RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP and STABLE certifications and previous OB experience required.
