Pennrose is an industry leader in the development and management of Affordable Housing. We are excited to be recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for our A.Harry Morre/Gloria Robinson property located in Jersey City, NJ.

Gloria Robinson Court Homes is a vibrant mixed-income apartment community in Jersey City, NJ. The multi-phase site was entirely reimagined and redeveloped, with construction completed on the final phase in 2016. Today, it is an incredible family community boasting beautifully redesigned one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartment homes. Residents enjoy open floor plans, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, walk-in closets, and more. Grounds are professionally landscaped, and families enjoy the on-site playground and close proximity to community parks. The property is professionally managed by Pennrose Management Company, which took over management following the redevelopment. The site also includes an 11-classroom Head Start early childhood education center, administered by Greater Bergen Community Action.

The chosen individual will be responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance for a residential building. This individual will assist in maintaining and improving operating conditions, quality, and integrity of all building systems and building appearances. Responsibilities also include general upkeep and cleaning of the grounds and common areas. Completing work orders and turnovers per company standards, etc.

Incumbents must have a High School Diploma/GED, Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification (types I and II) or obtained within six months of start date 2 years maintenance or construction experience
1 or more years’ experience as a full-charge maintenance technician preferred
