Occupational Therapist, Casual
Casual OT for outpatients/inpatients, covering for vacations, high census, etc.
Main responsibilities: Performs comprehensive assessment of therapy patient, develops a plan of care, performs treatment as indicated, assesses patient's response to treatment, and assists with discharge planning. Utilizes exercises, manual therapy, modalities, cognitive training, and education to improve the patient's overall mobility, pain and functional ability. Provides education related to the treatment program, disease process and prevention of further injuries to the patient, family/caregiver and other members of the healthcare team. Qualifications: Current occupational therapist license in the State of Wisconsin. Degree in occupational therapy (OT) from an accredited occupational therapy program. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Basic computer knowledge and professional interaction with staff, physicians, patients and families. |
