Pennrose is an industry leader in the development and management of Affordable Housing. We are excited to be recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor for our A.Harry Moore/Gloria Robinson property located in Jersey City, NJ.

Gloria Robinson Court Homes is a vibrant mixed-income apartment community in Jersey City, NJ. The multi-phase site was entirely reimagined and redeveloped, with construction completed on the final phase in 2016. Today, it is an incredible family community boasting beautifully redesigned one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartment homes. Residents enjoy open floor plans, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, walk-in closets, and more. Grounds are professionally landscaped, and families enjoy the on-site playground and close proximity to community parks. The property is professionally managed by Pennrose, which took over management following the redevelopment. The site also includes an 11-classroom Head Start early childhood education center, administered by Greater Bergen Community Action.

This position is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities at one site or a portfolio of sites, improves and standardizes quality of services and products used in the maintenance of properties. It also provides technical direction to property associates. Standardizes diagnostic approaches for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance routines.

Incumbent must have a High School Diploma/GED, Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification (types I and II) or obtained within six months of start date and three years of maintenance or construction experience with two years of experience in a managerial role.
